We continue to expand the design, research and implementation of game-based outreach education after the completion of the Georgetown University Energy Prize competition.
2015 held a great deal of new territory for efargo. As we officially launched we took opportunities wherever we could to get involved in the community with outreach. This was done in person, through interviews, various press releases & an exhibit.
In 2016, it was all about the energy challenge and outreach. We finished strong as the end of the race neared for the GUEP. We did this through continual outreach with LED bulb give aways and engaging the community to save energy in their homes! This was also our year of the Energy Challenge 2.0 in schools.
In 2017 we put our efforts into pushing for the Georgetown University Energy Prize as we waited eagerly to hear back on our results. During this time we also went into unknown territory of analyzing buildings remotely to determine their performance while never entering the building. Along with that we continued the Energy Challenge 3.0 in schools.
