Being situated in not only one of the coldest regions of the competition cities, Fargo also has some of the lowest nation energy prices nation-wide. This makes our seemingly modest goals rather ambitious. During the two year competition period which started in December of 2014, we seek to reduce overall energy use by five percent, to increase our renewable energy supply by five percent, and with your help, to reduce your utility bill by five percent.
